Gabriel Park part two... sort of.

I am aware that there is no part one that's because it happened when this blog was just a twinkle in my eye.  Last week our buddies Doug and Lise stopped through on their way to their lovely northern homeland.  I made a joke about starting a really dumb skateboarding blog while we were out cruising around.  Well, here you are.  There will probably be some totally mediocre "lifestyle" posts too, but don't hold your breath.

This week, man of most trades and international mystery Eric Edvalson came to visit.  We did some sidewalk surfing on the various waves and bulbous concrete formations that surfaced in Gabriel Park a couple years ago.  Rad break, dude.  After several near miss encounters with the wayward grommets (who politely exclaimed everything they were doing, "board" "dropping in") we climbed up this giant grass hill and skated down it because nothing alerts everyone you encounter to the level of madness you operate at like grass stains.

This is where it began.  Shelby and Eric scouting the proper trajectory.

This is where it ended.

Over all pretty rad and fun.  Imagining the grommets as characters from Scooby Doo helps ease their otherwise annoying indifference.  "Like wow, Scoob!"  Here are a couple more photos.
